Full Job Description
- Remove and replace/refit mechanical with an emphasis on suspension, steering and cooling systems using the correct and equipment and methods.
- Perform routine diagnostic checks, tests, and assessments.
- Inspect finished jobs for imperfections ensuring a flawless fit and finish.
- Maintain a clean and organised workplace to ensure the quality and efficiency of the painting process.
- Ensuring that all equipment and tools are used in accordance with defined safety requirements and maintained to a high standard.
- Follow all safety protocols including PPE to prevent accidents.
- Follow company procedures, policies, practices, and managers instructions.
- Supply a positive & enthusiastic approach to your working day at all times.
To support our Bodyshop, we are looking for a Vehicle MET Technician with at least 3 years' experience to bring energy and passion to the team. The successful candidate will have knowledge of suspension, 4-wheel alignment and diagnostics., - Proven experience as a MET tech in an automotive repair setting
- In depth knowledge of all areas of repairing vehicles
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and organised with a keen eye for detail
- Keen to support others and be a cooperative team player
- Handle all jobs with due care and attention
- Able to complete work from start to finish within the time frame given to a high standard
- Work well under pressure and deal with high volumes of work
- Able to meet strict targets and deadlines

Salary: £54,600 per annum (hourly paid) Hours: 7am - 5pm Monday to Friday and 1 in 2 Saturday mornings depending on business needs.
