Vehicle Technician Trainer / Auditor

To provide an efficient day to day technical training and auditing resource to support the UK's leading automotive trade body, Join RMISC as a Technical Trainer specialising in MOT (Ministry of Transport) experience. In this role, you will utilise your automotive expertise and robust IT skills to deliver high-quality training to our members. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring industry standards are met and maintained through effective training programs., Conduct auditing work in the field focused on MOT requirements and procedures

Deliver technical training programmes in the workplace to members

Conduct tests/assessments of candidates - record and report results

Support the Operations team with other field-based tasks

Be proactive in own work / file management

Utilise your IT proficiency to enhance training delivery and materials

An experienced automotive technician with the ability to deliver training in member workshops environment as part of a field-based team., Solid experience in MOT testing and procedures within the automotive sector.

Strong IT skills, capable of integrating technology into training sessions.

Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective technical training.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Essential

• Previous experience as an MOT Manager or Tester preferable


• Experience in a training environment


• Proven automotive diagnostic ability


• Experience with a wide variety of diagnostic tools and software


• Proven customer service skills


• Above average IT skills


• Excellent team player


• Excellent communication skills


• Ability to manage own workload & work with minimum supervision
