Full Job Description

Drive forward Continuous Improvement, Issue Resolution, Reporting and Analysis, Regulatory Compliance, Vendor Oversight, Contract Management.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a fundamental role in the delivery of the bank of Ireland UK priorities. Lead outsourced supplier of considerable size to BOIUK while receiving excellent exposure across the bank of Ireland Group.,

  • Oversee the execution and management of contracts related to the Intra Group Outsourcing Arrangement and 3rd party suppliers.

  • Ensure all contractual obligations are met by both parties.

  • Conduct regular reviews of contract performance and compliance in line with.

  • Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations as required.

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders within Bank of Ireland Group and 3rd party suppliers.

  • Monitor the performance of BOIG against agreed SLAs and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments.

  • Identify and handle risks associated with the outsourcing arrangement.

  • Ensure the outsourcing arrangement complies with relevant UK regulatory requirements, including those set by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA).

  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes and ensure the outsourcing arrangement remains compliant.

  • Produce regular reports on vendor performance, compliance, and risk.

  • Analyse data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for any issues or disputes related to the intra group outsourcing arrangement and 3rd party suppliers.

  • Coordinate and manage the resolution of issues in a timely and effective manner.

  • Escalate significant issues to senior management as needed., UK Sourcing team sits within the Operations function of the bank of Ireland UK. It is responsible for providing Bank of Ireland wide support for the management of third parties throughout all stages of the supplier management life cycle and for embedding process sourcing risk management to ensure the banks sourcing risk profile remains within appetite limits set by its board.

    Experience in vendor management, contract management, or a similar role within the financial services sector.


  • Strong knowledge of UK regulatory requirements related to outsourcing arrangements.

    Shown experience in handling complex vendor relationships and contracts, including intra group arrangements.

    Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
