Full Job Description

You will be responsible for overseeing our 3 sites which are all well established with experienced staff, each boasting their own unique characteristics, yet all adhering to a unified approach within the CVS management structure. Day-to-day duties of the role will include:

  • Recruit, train and supervise team members
  • Create and manage the team rota and ensure adequate coverage at all times
  • Financial responsibility, including banking, budgets and debt control
  • Prepare financial reports and analyse performance
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the practice
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and address any concerns or issues
  • Develop long-term goals and plans for the growth of the practice

    Previous Veterinary experience would be preferred, but not essential
  • Managerial or leadership experience would be advantageous
  • Strong planning and problem-solving skills
  • An excellent communicator with strong empathy
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
  • A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
