Veterinary Receptionist

Due to exceptional business growth, we are looking for two enthusiastic Receptionists to join our team. If you enjoy providing great customer service and are looking for a new challenge in a busy practice, we have just the opportunity for you.,

• Greeting and interacting face-to face with clients and their pets. You will provide exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets. Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be critical to your success.
• Managing the day-to-day running of the waiting room: phone communications, managing the mailbox, payments and daily financial summaries, taking pride in the appearance and upkeep of the waiting room, supporting the clinical team in the running of the day.
• Administration of the practice including insurance claims, debt management and some financial reporting.
• Working alongside the clinical team providing support to the fantastic vets and nurses we have here.
• You will be using RX Works computer booking system and making future bookings confidently with clients.
  
  Previous Veterinary Receptionist experience is essential, and knowledge of RX Works is desired.

• Excellent organisation skills: You will be able to multitask and stay calm in a busy environment and are adaptable and quick-thinking.

• You are calm, attentive, and always focus on the client's needs.
• You can be flexible to work a range of morning or afternoon shifts., Education: GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English (preferred)
Experience: Veterinary Reception/Administration, 1 year (preferred)

Gosport Vets4pets has been open for 14 years. The clinical team consists of 5 veterinary Surgeons, 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 3 Student Veterinary Nurses and 1 Veterinary Care Assistant. We have 7 fabulous Veterinary Receptionists, who are at the forefront of the practice and provide an excellent service to all our clients., Pets just see people. Working Hours:
• 5 Days a week, Hours between 8.30am and 19.00pm.
• Whilst we do not work out of hours, a share in the Saturday rota will be required. These hours are 9:00am - 12:00 noon
• You will also need to be able to participate in providing additional cover/shift changes, within our working hours, to support the reception team when needed., Competitive salary
