Veterinary Receptionist - Seadown Totton

This role is mainly based at our Totton branch, where there will only be one Receptionist on shift at a time, and there is a requirement to support/assist the Vet with animal handling etc in consults., Day-to-day duties of the role will include:

• Answering phones and booking appointments


• Responding to queries via phone, in person and email


• Registering new clients


• Completing insurance forms


• Dispensing medications


• Taking payments


• And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice
  
  Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!


• Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations


• An excellent communicator with strong empathy


• Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public


• A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
