  • If you are an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking to join a warm and friendly team then we would love to hear from you! This role is part time, up to 30 hours per week and involves working 1:4 full weekend. We are based on the Orbital Retail Centre, Cannock, just 10 minutes from Junction 11 of the M6. Our great location means we benefit from a good variety of cases and a wonderful loyal client base. You will be joining our team of 3 Vets, 2 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 4 VCA/Receptionists. Cannock Companion Care is owned by partners Emily, Samran and Sophie. Emily Dyche RVN & Practice Owner, undertakes the role of Practice Manager and has over 20 years of practice experience. Samran Khan MRCVS Vet & Practice Owner graduated in Vet school in Lahore, Pakistan, before passing his MRCVS in the UK in 2006. Samran has a strong interest in soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics. Sophie Crawford RVN & Practice Owner has over 9 years of practice experience and is currently the Nursing Clinical Director of the team and is a Clinical Supervisor to 2 SVNs. The partners are enthusiastic about encouraging their team to work towards their own veterinary interests and achieving their goals. As a practice we have a high number of insured pets, and our well-equipped surgery includes digital radiography, Coloured Doppler ultrasound, in-house idexx lab machines, blood pressure machine and Multiparameter. You will be dynamic and proactive Veterinary Surgeon with a keenness to learn and progress in this rewarding career.
