Veterinary Surgeon

This role is for a fixed term contract between 9 to 12 months long. This is ideally a full-time role of 35 hours per week with 9am to 7pm and 9am to 5pm shifts, with 1:3 Saturdays. However, if you are looking for part time hours we can discuss this

You ideally will have 3 years + experience and feel confident with all routine surgeries and have a passion for providing the best care possible for your clients

We are a newly extended practice with more modernised space to treat our ever-growing base of pets. A forward thinking, close working team with a passion for pets and exceptional client service. Here in Altrincham, we have reimagined how a practice works, putting our team at the centre of everything we do, which is reflected in our expansion. We have 5 consultation rooms, 2 theatres and a dedicated recovery area. We also have a set space for Vet Study and a large colleague rest room. We run 20-minute consults as standard and protected days with no client contact to focus on your patients and yourself.

Veterinary Surgeon Maternity cover required up to 12 months starting in Feb, full and part time can be considered paying up to £60,000

• You will be supported by a clinical team with bags of experience including 2 vets holding coveted Surgery Certificates, Our full-time hours are 35 hours per week with dedicated office time. However, as we are a growing practice, we are flexible around the hours and can accommodate compressed or part time hours as well as full time. In addition, there is no out of hours requirement, or Sundays, and only the occasional Saturday, with time off in lieu, so you truly can achieve that work/life balance.
Our team is currently made up of 3 full time vets, 3 RVN'S, 1 Auxiliary Nurse, 2 SVN and 2 VCA's, along with a front of house Client Care team, led by our proactive Practice Manager who champions well-being, fosters team cohesion and ensuring team success. Within the clinical team we have a Small Animal surgery Certificate holder with an interest in orthopaedics, a Vet who is due to complete a CertAVP with an interest in soft tissue.,
