Full Job Description

Our thriving practice in the historic town of Ruislip, Greater London is seeking a confident and enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join our supportive team. We are only a short walk from South Ruislip Central Line station.

You will be joining a friendly team made up of 4 vets, 3 Nurses, 2 Care assistants, student nurse and 2 receptionists and we hold a variety of individual interests including soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. Our bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, ultra sound, haematology and biochemistry blood machines, Multiparameter monitor and a Doppler BP machine.

Our new colleague will be confident in routine surgery and an interest in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery would be an advantage and fully supported by the practice. You will be passionate about building strong relationships with patients and clients and you will enjoy working in a team environment.

The hours required are full time, approx. 40 hours per week and include a 1 in 3 weekend rota, with no OOH. There will be some sole charge responsibility dependent on the rota.
