We are committed to maintaining a good work life balance. Hours include a 4-day week alternating between a week of early shifts (8:00 am - 5:30 pm) and late shifts (10:00 am - 7:30 pm) with 1 in 4 Saturdays (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) and 1 in 12 Sundays (10:00 am - 4:00 pm).

Applicants must have experience in working within a small animal veterinary practice, should be able to work well within a team, demonstrate leadership skills, and be able to focus on maintaining high levels of both patient and client care. You will be self-motivated with a positive attitude and have a warm and compassionate approach to our team, patients, and clients.

Vet 4 Life is modern and well-equipped with on-site surgical, diagnostic, and dental facilities. Equipment includes digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, endoscopes, laparoscopes, colour flow doppler ultrasound, k-laser, orthopaedic kit, tonopens and excellent in-house laboratory equipment; just to name a few! This will allow you every opportunity to work up and treat cases to your full potential.

We have numerous certificate holders in both medicine and surgery allowing you the opportunity to share knowledge and further develop your skills.

Our consultations run by appointment, with a minimum of fifteen minutes allocated per pet.

Vet 4 Life is silver accredited in the investors in the environment awards scheme, have GP status with the RCVS practice standards scheme and are cat friendly accredited. We are working towards practice standards scheme awards as well as dog friendly accreditation schemes.

We are a nurse training practice and have a graduate training program to support the next generation of vets and nurses.

We have approximately 40 staff members across our 3 sites and are very proud of our achievements and our reputation in the veterinary profession.
