Full Job Description
As we continue to grow, our successful small animal practice in Bulwell has a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and professional team!
We are looking for someone confident, friendly and enthusiastic with great communication skills. You'll have good general small animal surgical and medical abilities and a desire to learn and improve. Ideally you will have experience of working in a busy environment where client and patient care are key. We're keen to talk with you if you're a qualified Veterinary Surgeon with at least a few years' experience under your belt. We are flexible to consider candidates seeking full or part time employment and can also be flexible regarding our weekend rotas. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fun, hardworking and motivated team, offering the chance to develop your own specialisms in a supportive environment.
We are a busy practice with an established and ever-growing client-base as well as a varied caseload. Bulwell is situated in Robin Hood country, 4.5 miles from Nottingham's busy city centre, yet still close to the picturesque Peak District. We are on the doorstep of handy transport links including being situated right near East Midlands Airport. The bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasonography, endoscopy and in-house laboratory facilities. Our partner, Clare Vitale graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 1999 and leads an experienced team of 5 Vets, 5 Nurses and 4 receptionists, along with Nurse Partner, Hammond., Pets just see people. They aren't biased and they don't discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience don't perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!
