Full Job Description

Southend- on-Sea Vets for Pets are looking for a talented veterinary surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team! The practice opened their doors as a standalone practice in 2012 and have a lovely, loyal and varied client base. We see a wide variety of medical and surgical cases, including exotics and orthopaedics. We have a growing number of insured clients allowing cases to be thoroughly investigated and worked up to a high standard. We pride ourselves on being a family feeling team with lots of fun and laughter whilst providing excellent gold standard care. Our team is led by Gavin Young MRCVS, who has a keen interest in orthopaedics. Our team consists of 1 JVP/Vet, 4 Vets, 5 RVNs, 4 client care advisors and a practice manager. We are all friendly, approachable, close knit team that is looking forward to welcoming someone new to join us. We are a well-equipped surgery, with a laparoscopic kit, on site ultrasound, digital and dental X-Ray, Multiparameter Monitor, Rigid Endoscope, separate dog and cat ward, isolation ward, in house lab and diathermy machine. The existing team have interests and certificate`s in areas infeline medicine and Critical Care. The role is Full Time, 40 hours a week and 1 in 4 weekends (Saturday 9am-12pm, no Sundays, OOH or bank holidays)
