Full Job Description

VFX is delivered across multiple disciplines, channels, clients and products. We create animated characters, full computer-generated car configurators with millions of variations, computer-generated food with AI backgrounds, photo-real, real-time environments, water simulations for 3D products, digital twins and much more.The department includes lighters, modellers, animators, pipeline developers and producers in both onshore and offshore locations supporting global and local client needs. What does a VFX Production Coordinator do at Hogarth? A pivotal role which helps manage the complex task of moving the flow of information and assets through a VFX pipeline. The coordinators assist the VFX Producers and production managers by ensuring everyone stays in the loop, acting as a go-between or point person for the artists and production team. Responsibilities

  • Use scheduling and workflow management software to ensure a smooth and organised workflow and keep track of shot progress.
  • Organise meetings and review sessions
  • Review session notes - taking, tracking and delivering to the artists
  • Uploading and downloading of delivery and turnovers to the clients
  • Look out for and troubleshoot scheduling issues with artists tasks and workload.

  • An understanding of visual effects workflows, file formats and terminology.
  • Strong communication and organisation skills, with an emphasis on note taking, tracking and prioritisation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to think on your feet and generate effective solutions.
  • Strong general computer skills & ability to learn new packages, proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with tool such as F-track, Shotgrid or Kitsu a plus.
  • Previous experience working in a VFX production environment.
