Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking a dynamic and motivated Lecturer in Graphics & Illustration to teach on our prestigious Foundation Art, Design & Media Diploma course at Trowbridge. VHL Lecturer in Graphics & Illustration - Key Responsibilities: What You'll Do:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lectures on a range of topics, from traditional illustration techniques to digital design and visual communication.
  • Mentor and guide students through practical assignments, creative projects, and portfolio development, UCAS application and interview preparation.
  • Design and develop innovative course content, that reflects current trends and industry standards.
  • Foster a collaborative, creative studio environment encouraging experimentation and critical thinking.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback, helping students to improve their technical skills and creative vision.

    A passion for teaching and a desire to inspire the next generation of creatives.
  • A recognised teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • A strong background in graphic design, illustration, or a related field, with industry experience or academic qualifications.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant digital tools.
  • An ability to deliver engaging and accessible content to a diverse group of students.
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills, with a commitment to fostering student development.
  • A flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to variable teaching hours and course demands.
