Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and inspirational Vicar for the whole Benefice with specific responsibility for the Parish of Wheatley. There is a House for Duty priest who is responsible for the four smaller parishes and a Lay Minister based in Wheatley. This is an exciting opportunity for a new vicar of this beautifully refurbished village church, within easy distance of Oxford, to guide our congregation, deepen our faith, and extend our reach into the community. We are praying for a vicar who:

  • will communicate their Christian faith in a relevant and thought-provoking manner.
  • will make pastoral care an important concern.
  • will work effectively with our local schools and encourage families and young people.
