The Vice President, Data Product Management will be responsible for overseeing the process of collecting, storing, organizing, and sharing data within the Global Streaming organization and playing a global leadership role in representing all aspects of the Decision Sciences organization to our international stakeholders as they navigate our data products and ecosystem. This person will champion a Data-as-a-Product mindset and will be responsible for governing, operating, and improving our data ecosystem while ensuring robust and secure utilization by the DTC businesses. We gather data from across all customer/prospect journeys in near real-time to allow fast feedback loops across DTC functions; combined with our strategic data platform, this data ecosystem is at the core of being able to make intelligent customer and business decisions. The successful candidate will be pragmatic and agile-delivery focused, who will need to balance the strategy, execution, and governance of data products across the NBCU ecosystem. In addition, this person will be required to enable conversations between stakeholders, executives, engineers, analysts, and other product teams. In-depth knowledge of and experience in digital data solutions is essential to support the growing demand for solutions in that area, however, an excellent understanding of wider technology landscape is also an advantage. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and be accountable for the entire product development lifecycle, including clear and consistent requirements standards that are usable by all teams, a clear process to translate requirements into technical scope and subject matter expertise in breaking down requirements into user stories to inform the scope and design of data solutions
- Work closely with technology partners to define the roadmap for and realize implementation of new data capabilities and new business initiatives, contributing to high level designs, integrity of solution and a comprehensive UAT
- Partner with the Marketing Technology and Ad Technology teams to ensure that our first party data and models can be effectively leveraged to optimize media campaigns
- Grasp the unique and complex commercial needs and differences between proposition users of the data products ecosystem and ensure they are catered to in solution design
- Develop key relationships with stakeholders to deliver timely requirements that ensure that the solution can be defined, and business value understood by all teams
- Support data products that are built and managed for integration into a larger global run ecosystem and ensure solutions deliver business objectives
- Help develop and track the usage of reports for operational delivery, finance, and all support teams to identify opportunities for improvement
- Help define KPIs to track success and prioritize features for development
- Manage the data fidelity to and from all products and partners, this includes data quality, lineages, etc. and champion data literacy to drive adoption across the organization
- Enforce relevant legal and compliance needs for all proposition geographies, balancing risk against integration complexity
- Perform regular market assessments to ensure the tooling and methodologies are consistent with best-in-class standards
An experienced executive in data driven industries such as marketing or ad sales with increasing responsibility in the Entertainment, Media, Communications, Financial Services or related industries - Experience with Data Lake/CDP strategies and partnering with IT on data architecture and identity resolution solutions
- Experience with the end-to-end product development process Desired Characteristics:

- Demonstrates organizational savvy by successfully navigating complex, highly matrixed and decentralized organization
