Full Job Description

The Distributed Authentication Product team is responsible for managing the market deployment of cardholder identity verification and authentication products including Mastercard Identity Check, Mastercard Passkeys and Mastercard Token Authentication Framework. The Vice President for Distributed Authentication Product Management Europe will lead our authentication deployment team based on various markets and lead Go to Market as well as customer support related activities across all authentication solutions with a sharp focus to drive scale and usage of the services, whilst growing associated product revenues.,

  • Works closely with regional product owners to capture market insights to feed regional authentication product strategy across Identity Check program, passkeys and Token Authentication Framework in partnership with CSCs aligning with market needs.
  • Drives all customer support activities on Identity Check program, including optimization and growth initiatives; Develops scalable customer engagement approach and customer deliverables to support growth and optimization initiatives; captures customer and CSC feedback to consistently enhance customer engagements.
  • Lead deployment of passkeys for C2P and SCOF at the market level, leading go to market efforts at the local level in coordination with CSCs and regional product manager; build and manage local pipeline of passkeys to accelerate pilots and transition to full commercialization stage; support local customers (issuers, PSPs, merchants, acquirers) on Mastercard Passkeys and TAF; deliver product workshops to customers.
  • Works with Customer Solution Centers to provide market level / customer support on digital and authentication platforms and products.
  • Build high-performing teams and actively manage talent by continuously assessing talent needs against current capabilities, addressing any gaps.
  • Demonstrates thought leadership through profound product and industry expertise representing Mastercard at relevant industry events., All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must:

    Profound industry expertise (focused on EMV 3DS & biometrics authentication, and digital payments overall), upcoming technologies, and authentication fraud trends. Strong knowledge of the overall payment industry and the competitive landscape.
  • Clear understanding of the Digital space (Tokenization, Click to Pay)
  • Extensive customer facing experience: build trust and relationships with customers, manage customer expectations, clear and effective communications with customers at all levels, clear communication verbally and in writing/customer deliverables
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution: Proven skill in handling difficult conversations and finding mutually beneficial solutions to meet both customer and regional product goals
  • Effective Communication: Excellence in communicating complex ideas clearly and concisely through presentations, reports, and client interactions, ensuring clients fully understand the proposed solutions; outstanding Presentation, Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
  • Demonstrated experience as a leader with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop product talent.
  • Proven track record of data driven decision making and applying continuous improvement and test and learn methodologies across teams.
  • Ability to form trusted relationships at various levels (existing personal network of key decision makers in the industry preferred)
  • Communicates to executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity.
  • Strong networker with the ability to listen, build common ground and influence to effectively advance business opportunities and generate revenue.
  • Proven ability of leading effectively in matrix organizations and with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally.
  • Language skills: English Fluent and a second major European language.
