Full Job Description

  • This is an opportunity for a driven individual to take on an exciting new career challenge in our UK Banks Coverage Team

  • You'll be able to build and maintain relationships with a wide network of stakeholders, both across Natwest and within the external marketplace in the UK with focus on the UK Banks and Building Society segment

  • The role will be responsible for supporting the Head of UK Banks Coverage directly, in all aspects of strategic delivery and client origination agenda

  • You'll be working within the Natwest Financial Institutions Franchise across the UK so some travel will be expected


  • What you'll do

    You'll utilise in-depth knowledge of our Commercial and Institutional product set to fully support the effective relationship management of customer relationships. You'll lead on liaison with key stakeholders and colleagues across Natwest, including Product, Risk and Central Treasury. The role will be an important contributor to how we shape our future strategy for success across the UK region for our UK Financial Institutions customer segment.

    We'll look to you be the coordinating first point of call for specific customer relationships, delivering the capabilities of the bank to appropriately meet those customers' requirements including delivering sector content and core relationship facilities for these customers.

    You'll also:

  • Provide outstanding support in establishing a close relationship dialogue within a defined suite of specific customer relationships

  • Deliver the capabilities of the bank to appropriately meet customer needs and requirements, including delivering sector content and core relationship facilities for these customers

  • Provide strong analytical capability to understand customer requirements and deliver appropriate solutions to meet those requirements

  • Support UK Bank Coverage colleagues in all aspects of delivering against our customer strategies and the Bank strategy

  • Develop a strong network of relationships with internal stakeholders in order to understand and shape strategy, process and capability to provide market leading service to our customers

  • Drive customer engagement and work with product partners to deliver the best

    We're looking for someone with good knowledge and understanding of Financial Institutions along with credibility within the banks segment. You'll have good strategic capability and a solid understanding of the full suite of banking products. Strong origination and coverage background would be preferable. Prior experience across bank or non-bank Financial Institutions would be beneficial.
