Full Job Description
Jagex is looking for a Video & Livestream Producer to work within the Creative Services team, primarily focusing on producing video assets and live content for our product marketing teams. You will be managing video and livestreaming projects from concept to delivery, utilizing your creative, producing, videography, video editing and livestreaming skills. You will be collaborating with various internal departments (Marketing, Community, CGI, Audio, Art, Design etc.) to produce high quality content across all Jagex channels, for a range of stakeholders and IPs across the business. You will also be collaborating with freelancers and agencies to write, pitch and produce video/livestreaming concepts for a wide range of audiences across several platforms. This role will include working on live shows such as RuneFest and other key industry events. What you'll be doing: Video
- Writing and producing video content across gameplay, cinematic and live action mediums
- Creating pre-production documentation for various kinds of video assets
- Acting as videographer on shoots and capturing in-game footage to produce assets for use in your videos (Game engines include: RuneScape, Old School, and Unreal Engine 5)
- Utilising Premiere Pro to edit video assets for key stakeholders across the business, serving the needs of all cross-platform game titles
- Contributing to creative meetings to develop imaginative video concepts for existing and prospective players
- Developing and maintaining working procedures with other teams, to schedule and deliver projects as required by key stakeholders Livestreaming
- Ideate, write, pitch, organize and produce livestreams for both campaign and community initiatives
- Operation and direction of our in-house live streaming studio, utilising OBS and vMix, for both remote and on-site broadcasts.
- Work closely with the wider Creative Services team to produce the highest quality content from the live studio, including show planning, use of correct graphical, audio and visual assets, editing, liaising with outsource partners, and development of asset creation
- Development of key studio functionalities, such as motion graphics, data integrations, and interactive systems including social media and chat functions
- Develop and maintain working procedures with other teams, such as the Social, Community and Marketing teams, to schedule and deliver projects as required by key stakeholders
- Partner with and manage any external freelancers or agencies to assist the wider broadcast function
- Working closely with the Creative Services team and any external partners for large scale industry events, such as Summits, Roadmap Reveals, Runefest and eSports events
- Administrative duties across YouTube/Twitch/Other broadcast platforms as and when required
A showreel or portfolio of work you have undertaken, highlighting your talents from creative conception to execution and production, with relevant examples of how your knowledge has or can be applied to the gaming industry - Knowledge of the film making process through pre-production, all the way to post-production and delivery
- A keen eye for videography and experience working with professional grade cameras.
- Excellent video editing skills with good knowledge of editing terminology, workflows, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to balance both business and creative needs throughout asset production.
- Experience in OBS and/or vMix to deliver high quality livestream productions
- Working knowledge of professional standard livestreaming equipment and workflows
- Experience utilising video platforms such as Twitch and YouTube, and social platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
