Village Steward - Bruton

We are recruiting for our diverse and exciting role of Village Steward to aid with the maintenance of land within the local villages, build and maintain local relationships and be a diligent custodian of the Estate.
Your roleJoining our existing Estate team, this role will play a huge part in our engagement with our local communities. You will:

• Improve and maintain the appearance of all Estate owned assets within our neighbouring villages - including maintaining footpaths, verges, drains and ponds and reporting concerns to relevant people within the Estate.


• Help improve interaction and relations with local communities, conversing on a daily basis and acting as an ambassador for the Estate
  
  Ability to work independently, taking initiative when needed and paying close attention to details


• A confident communicator who enjoys the opportunity to meet new people, strike up a rapport with neighbours and build positive relationships.


• Experience of landscape maintenance tasks including grass cutting, strimming, weeding, clearance etc.


• Full and clean UK driving license.


• PA1 & PA6 certificates desirable.


• Trailer licence desirable


• Basic machinery maintenance knowledge
