Islington's highly successful Virtual School is recruiting an Advisory and Support Teacher to ensure the Virtual School meets its new extended duty to support children in kinship care families.

The key responsibilities of the post include raising the visibility of the distinct needs of children in different types of kinship care arrangements and the disadvantage that they can experience and promoting practice that supports attendance, learning and engagement in education, so that every child has the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
