Full Job Description
- Plan and lead training sessions to a group of mixed ability players with diverse backgrounds and experience of the sport
- Build confidence of returning players and keep retention rates up Introduce novice players to the sport and improve their technical ability
- Demonstrate a patient and encouraging coaching method Provide coaching expertise to improve the quality and standard of training
- Be a leader and help increase commitment from the players across the teams
- Be passionate about the sport and building an inclusive and fun environment for players
- Have an understanding of higher education sport
- Focus on improving players technique to prevent injury
- Work with the club committee to achieve the clubs aims and objectives for this year
- Display good coaching conduct in line with Queen Mary Student's Union Code of Conduct Please note all paid QMSU Coaches are required to hold a coaching certification relevant to their sport, as well as relevant first aid and insurance documentation.
