Full Job Description

Various ocassional or regular:
GARDENERS: We could use a few more green fingered hands to help tending to the grounds, weeding and taking care of the garden. Whatever time you can give will make a difference!
CHURCH VISITOR HOSPITALITY: Visitors benefit from a warm welcome so if you can meet and greet visitors this helps keep the church safe and open. Current opening times are Tuesday and Thursday afternoon and Wednesday evenings. The more welcomers we have the more the church can stay open.
SUNDAY SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS: As a family friendly church we seek to offer children safe, engaging activities during our Sunday morning service. You could be part of the team helping to lead or support Children’s Church.
COMMUNITY CAFE VOLUNTEERS: Join our Kitchen team on Sunday mornings, Thursday lunchtimes or at events. Roles include preparing refreshments and food, serving visitors, (un)loading the dishwasher and/or clearing away. Join a team in a safe, warm space offering food, drink and companionship.
CHOIR MEMBERS: You're welcome to join weekly rehearsal and join the Choir singing hymns at the front of Church, accompanied by the Organ, during our Sunday service and at Easter and Christmas and occasional life events such as weddings.
CASH COUNTERS: Two volunteers work as a pair counting and recording collections after the 11am service, following our financial systems
All Volunteers are offered induction, support and training (mostly on the job) for their role. Volunteering is great for personal and professional development, a positive way to give back, sharing and building skills and meeting new people.
