This is a flexible role that can fit around other commitments. As long as the timing is convenient for both you and your Befriendee - it can be as flexible as you need it to be. For Telephone Befriending, calls take place approximately once a week, and the call lasts for an average of 40 minutes, up to an hour. For Face to Face Befriending, we try and match you up with someone that is geographically close to you, to cut down on your travelling time. Face to Face visits would generally last approximately one hour - but may be longer if you go out and about.
