Do you want to make a real difference, providing a first-class service to the public and interacting with a variety of people? We are looking for a Volunteers in Policing Co-ordinator to work in Leicestershire Police on a full-time permanent basis based at Force Headquarters and travelling around the regional offices. You will be supporting the Head of Operations in the effective co-ordination and deployment of volunteers across the Force. Key Responsibilities

To liaise with the Chief Officer of the Special Constabulary and maximise the use and deployment of the Special Constabulary.
To provide a single point of contact and liaison to internal departments in respect of all Volunteers in Policing.
To provide management information on performance, recruiting, best practice and training.

To be educated to GCSE standard, or equivalent, in English Language and Maths to Grade C and/or be able to demonstrate ability to the above level through method of work experience.
Practical experience of managing devolved budgets.
The ability to plan and implement new systems and procedures, where it has been necessary to co-ordinate work streams., Please note due to the vetting level for this role applicants must have 3 years continuous residency within the UK at the time of application.
