We are looking for a Volunteer Manager to join our team. The role is full time and permanent. You'll work 36 hours per week and there will be some requirement to work weekends.

This is a great opportunity for a person passionate about volunteering. Brodsworth has over 200 active volunteers. In this role you will work with key members of the site and HR & Volunteering teams to design and implement new offers in volunteering, with a view to diversifying the programme, ensuring it accounts for current sector trends, the needs of the local community and the needs of the site. This will include managing and delivering the recruitment, training, support, retention and recognition of volunteers engaged in all areas of English Heritage's work. You will also ensure that all aspects of the volunteer programme are delivered on time, in budget and are of quality.
As Brodsworth Volunteer Manager, you will:
- Manage the volunteer programme and journey for volunteers through the development of a volunteering plan, to deliver the targets set out in the English Heritage Volunteering Strategy
-Monitor, manage, document and evaluate the volunteering programme
-Build excellent and productive relationships with key partners and external
stakeholders to develop the volunteer programme and new opportunities.
-Participate in Duty Manager support for the site including out of hours as, Forget the stereotypes. It takes thousands of people from every background to care for England's heritage and open it up for everybody to enjoy. Relevant experience of successfully managing a diverse volunteering
programme
-Experience of leading a team of volunteers in the delivery of consistent standards
-Experience of working with the local community
-Knowledge of the principles of volunteer involvement.
