Volunteer Organiser

As our Volunteer Organiser you will have the following skills and experience:
+ Lead on the recruitment, retention, and recognition of volunteers both within and outside of the Village in line with the Volunteering strategy and policy.
+ Raise the profile of volunteering within the Village to staff, residents, and visitors.
+ Work with the Activities Coordinator at the Village to ensure appropriate numbers of Volunteers are available to assist with events and activities.
+ To develop partnerships with external organisations such as universities, colleges, and local volunteer centres to build the Villages volunteer base.
+ To encourage residents to contribute to the running of their location through volunteering.
+ To co-ordinate the induction of all new volunteers
+ To host an annual volunteer recognition event

+ You must have effective communication skills and able to build rapport with volunteers and residents.
+ The ability to be an effective influencer and engaging.
+ Good networking skills
+ Proactive and enthusiastic with initiative.

+ You will need to be fully flexible as this role requires some weekend working and Bank holidays on a rota basis.
