full-time home-based role thatll include travel around the region, so youll need to live in Devon have a home office set up, a full driving license and access to a car. Hours:35 hours per week - Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 As a Volunteer Services Coordinator youll support the delivery, coordination, and growth of Marie Curies portfolio of volunteer delivered services in the South-West. Youll have a can-do attitude, experience working with volunteers and a passion for creating excellent volunteer experiences. Thisll be a busy and varied role, but main duties will include coordinating the volunteer delivered services, managing, and supporting volunteers both in person and remotely, promoting and raising awareness of the volunteer delivered services, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and monitoring the impact of the services. As an integral part of the Companion Volunteer Team, youll need to be agile and adaptable, proactive, an excellent
communicator, solution focused, organised and IT literate. All members of the Companion Volunteer Team are expected to actively promote and support the wellbeing of people at end of life and the people closest to them. What were looking for: Strong planning, operational, communication and interpersonal skills Excellent self-organisation and attention to detail Good IT skills An ability to work well under pressure and experience prioritising a busy workload A high level of emotional intelligence An ability to use own initiative to make improvements to service delivery, assess potential risks, make sound judgments and to seek support when appropriate Experience delivering volunteer training and leading volunteer meetings Experience promoting, raising awareness of and generating referrals for volunteer delivered services within local communities Evidence of relevant, recent work experience in volunteer management Experience working within KPIs and delivering on agreed
