Join us as a Ward Volunteer, where your empathy and kindness can truly shine. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by engaging with patients on the wards. Your mission is to provide support and comfort to those who may be feeling anxious or overwhelmed. By offering a listening ear and a comforting presence, you'll help create a more welcoming and supportive environment for all.

You will not need to make another application., As a Ward Volunteer, you're not just fulfilling tasks; you're fostering a culture of warmth and camaraderie. Whether serving beverages or restocking shelves, you're an integral part of maintaining efficiency and organization behind the scenes. More than that, you're a vigilant guardian of patient confidentiality, ensuring trust and privacy are upheld without compromise. We have 200 fantastic volunteers working hard to support the services that we deliver to our patients. As a Trust, we help look after 370,000 people in our local area & give specialist care to 1.5 million people across Lancashire & Cumbria.
