The Prince's Trust is currently going through an exciting period of development. We have ambitions to grow our offer to young people by providing a blended approach of face-to-face and digital delivery and support. To help us on this journey we are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to lead a dynamic team working with volunteers that support young people directly through mentoring work and the delivery of programmes. We are looking for an energetic and confident leader to help us achieve our ambitions across a large geographical area in the North of England.

This role will involve leading a team of delivery staff supporting Volunteers in the metro cities of Manchester, Liverpool Leeds, Newcastle, and Nottingham. We are passionate about flexible working but it's worth being aware that as part of this role you will be required to regularly travel across the area to support your staff team and volunteers.

As part of the Leadership Team, you will be responsible for ensuring our volunteers have the best possible experience supporting our young people into outcomes including personal progressions with improvements in life skills , securing a job and sustained self-employment. You will be working collaboratively to help develop and implement our Volunteering strategy for the next 3 years. You will be a role model for your team, demonstrating quality and best practice in how we work with volunteers and young people in a safe way to ensure we deliver outstanding value., Please note we're not responsible for the content of job ads, as they're posted by the recruiter. We'll aim to resolve the reported issue and we'll use your feedback to improve the quality of our ads.

A background working in a fast-paced charity setting would be great, along with the ability to build effective relationships and inspire colleagues. To be successful in this role you will be able to engage in challenges with optimism and resilience and be adaptive and flexible - embracing change and innovation. If you are up for a challenge and working in a great team, we would love to hear from you.
