Join DAZN as our new VP, Business Development to be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing growth opportunities for DAZN!
This role involves building and nurturing relationships with potential distributors / partners and driving revenue through new business initiatives. You'll be tasked with identifying new opportunities for DAZN in new markets across the globe.
If you have a strong background in sales, marketing, business strategy, and a proven track record of driving growth in a competitive market, we would love to hear from you! Partners could include Telcos, OEMs, Brands, Media platforms, Broadcasters so ideally you will have a strong network within sports broadcasting / distribution.

As our new VP Business Development you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive new market / business development strategy aligned with DAZN's core goals and objectives.

  • Identify and launch new market opportunities.

  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategic decision making.

  • Identify and engage with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to generate new business.

  • Lead negotiations and manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closure.

  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in new markets / verticals.

  • Foster long-term partnerships that align with DAZN's strategic goals.

  • Represent DAZN at all levels with new business prospects.

  • Work closely with rights acquisition, product development / technology teams to ensure alignment in strategy and execution.

  • Provide feedback and insights to internal teams regarding market demands, customer behaviour, and competitive dynamics.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to refine and optimise the company's core value proposition and market positioning.

  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for business development activities.

  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on progress, challenges, and outcomes.

    Proven senior level experience in a business development, sales, or related position.

  • Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and expanding market presence.

  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, flexible with a drive to succeed.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to build and maintain effective and strong relationships both internally and externally.
