Full Job Description

We are recruiting for a position that has arisen within the Department of Trauma & Orthopaedics based within the Jefferies Wing St Mary's Hospital at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our existing administration and clerical team to support with the waiting list, for Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. This role involves supporting the administrative tasks for the service as well as some of the ad hoc responsibilities, which will involve day to day clerical tasks and support to our reception and secretarial team.,

  • To provide effective and efficient clerical and reception support to a designated clinicor clinics, ensuring that administration processes meet the needs of all service users.
  • To respond and deal with a variety of often complex booking requests in a timelymanner, whether by telephone or in person, ensuring that patients are bookedaccording to clinical priority and in chronological order.
  • Ensure patients are added to correct waiting lists using hospital standard operatingprocedures.
  • Ensure all relevant patient information is recorded on the Trusts' IT systems andupdated accordingly with the Trusts Access Policy
  • Ensure RTT data is accurate at all times
