Full Job Description
You will be responsible for the management of your own workload, working closely with other Waiting List Officers, Consultants and the Management Team. The Role will entail answering the phones to patients, checking our shared inbox, confirming surgeries, dealing and outcoming patient documents., We are the specialist centre for major trauma for the North Midlands and North Wales. We have put together a wide range of development packages aimed at ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to fulfil their potential. Our goal is to be a world-class centre of achievement, where patients receive the highest standards of care and the best people come to learn, work and research.
An exciting opportunity has become available within Specialised Surgery Directorate. The Ophthalmology Team are looking for an experienced and motivated individual with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to work as a Waiting List Officer Assistant at Royal Stoke., Candidates should possess a professional attitude to their work and have the ability to work flexibly in an extremely busy environment. You will possess experience of working as a Waiting List Officer Assistant demonstrating accuracy and excellent multi-tasking capabilities in all aspects of the workload. You will be required to work as part of a team as well as being able to use your initiative and prioritise your own workload to meet strict deadlines.
