We are recruiting for a Waiting List Scheduler who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff., Do you want to work in a fast paced environment, delivering high quality care to the patients of Medway and Swale?
If so, Endoscopy could be the role for you. Endoscopy is currently due to COVID 19 a highly demanded service, and is part of an increasing capacity framework to deliver waiting list times to the constitutional standards.
The team is made of up Administrative, Nursing, Consultant and Decontamination staff. All who are responsible for delivering patient care.
Medway Foundation Trust is undergoing a collaboration with Darent Valley Hospital to increase capacity into a brand new, state of the art modular Endoscopy Unit and this is an exciting time for Endoscopy.

Adding patients to the waiting list
Being the main contact between pathway coordinators, clinicians, and patients to deliver patient care
Organising appointments for patients
Removing patients from the waiting list in line with the Elective Access Policy
Escalating capacity issues
Changing appointments if not mutually agreed
Complying with COVID 19 restrictions to deliver patient care in a safe and high quality manner
Responding to patient queries
Organising and maintaining documentation in line with the Trusts policies and procedures
Working as part of a team and off of own initiative
Reorganising lists to maintain Emergency Endoscopy timelines on occasion
To provide a full Operational administrative service to the Endoscopy department. To cross cover within the team in times of staff annual leave/sickness. To work off of own initiative as well as part of a team.
