Full Job Description

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and confident people to join our team who would like to work in our award-winning wine and cheese bar/restaurant as a Bar/Waiting staff.

We are passionate about great quality gin, coffee, wine and cheese. We are hiring weekend/part time staff to join our small, friendly team.

These roles are for shifts that are to cover weekends, which can include Friday, Saturday and Sundays. As a minimum we require weekend staff to be available Saturday and Sunday and this is every weekend from now until the end of September, the right candidates can expect year round work if required, there is potential for additional hours during the week if required and we will pay a loyalty bonus for working every weekend including bank holidays.

The role:
We are looking for a person who loves customers and people and would like to be part of an energetic team. We would want you to be passionate about hosting customers, ideally cheese and wine although being are able to share your enthusiasm through amazing service levels is more important.
As a server/server you will need experience waiting on tables and you will need to be flexible in terms of shift patterns.

  • Welcoming customers and allocating seating as required, this will be outside and inside

  • Taking orders from customers and then serving drinks and food as required

  • Delivering a high quality customer experience by interacting with customers and making recommendations from our fantastic range of products.

  • Clearing tables in a timely manner to maintain a clean and sanitary environment

  • Complying with all food and drink regulations including verifying legal age requirements for customers

  • Keeping all facilities clean and tidy

    We're dedicated to celebrating the best in cheese, wine and charcuterie working with suppliers from the U.K and France, Spain and Italy, to create our signature cheeseboards, deliboards, meze boards and grilled cheese sandwiches and other classic cheese-focused dishes - all seasonal, and made with the best quality. We also offer a range of events, especially going into the winter season and tapas style dishes through the year, along with pop up food events.

    Pay: Up to £12.00 per hour
