Full Job Description

  • Collaborate with partner agencies within the MASH to screen and evaluate incoming referrals.

  • Analyze information effectively to determine appropriate levels of intervention or service required for each case.

  • Make informed decisions to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families.

  • Provide professional guidance and support to colleagues and partner agencies within the MASH.

  • Maintain comprehensive records of all decisions and actions taken, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the MASH service.

    Wakefield Council is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Enhanced Senior Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a social worker with a minimum of three years of post-qualifying experience, ideally with prior experience in a MASH setting. The successful candidate will be a key player in our team, working closely with partner agencies to assess and respond to incoming referrals., Qualified social worker with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualifying experience.

  • Experience in a MASH environment is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication and partnership-working skills.

  • Ability to work largely in an office-based environment, with some potential for hybrid working.

    Pay Rate: Up to £40 per hour (umbrella), depending on experience.
