This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised individual who is competent with IT systems and is keen to become an integral part of a fast paced team. We currently have a vacancy in our admin team that would suit someone who enjoys a challenge, understands that detail, confidentiality and focus is important when dealing with clients and client information, and enjoys the support, flexibility and job satisfaction that comes from working as part of a dedicated admin team. The role is varied and you will never be bored!! This post is for 21 hours worked over 3 days, covering core office hours and will be based on the ward at Gosport War Memorial Hospital. The successful candidate will be highly professional and able to support the team with execution of requested tasks, alongside system reporting and escalation where necessary. Resilience under pressure is needed as at times the role will be busy and challenging. An ability to build positive working relationships is needed.,
- The Ward Administrator role will provide comprehensive, confidential, and efficient admin support to line manager, and each ward team as requested supporting and enabling them to provide excellent care to patients.
- The Administrator will act as one of the key contacts for both staff & patients in regard to team communications ensuring that all messages are relayed to relevant team member's as required.
- The Administrator will provide a range of general and specialist administrative support to ongoing clinical activity including ward clerk cover.
- Provide administrative support to and cover for tasks on behalf of PA to Physical Health Inpatient Matron and Admin Manager as requested.
- Proactively and positively contribute to the successful overall performance of the Trust.
- Deliver excellent levels of customer service to all staff and patients or visitors at the Trust.
- Develop effective ways of working and create strong partnerships and relationships with all stakeholders and service partners to support the implementation of the Government's policies on Health.
- Participate in organisational culture that fosters collaborative working among all staff groups, to ensure a focused commitment to delivering quality services and outcomes.
- Act as an advocate for the Trust & its contribution to the Health Service arena through creating effective partnerships and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
