Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit to our Delivery Suite team at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital. This is a part time contract which will require some flexibility in a working pattern to ensure the service is covered 24/7 7 days a week. The successful candidate will be required to cover other reception areas within women's and children's should we require cover due to sickness or annual leave. The successful candidate will be part of a large friendly team. Working hours - Week 1: 12 hours 2 days a week (07:00-19:30 Wednesday & Thursday) Week 2: 12 hours 1 days a week (07:00-19:30 Friday), The post holder will provide a high quality reception and support service within an inpatient setting. The successful candidate will need to be able to communicate well with patients and their relatives, the general public and a wide range of multi-professional staff, internal and external to the Trust. In order to provide a support service to the technical staff, a versatile approach is essential and the ability to cope with a large number of different tasks simultaneously is a requirement of this post. If you are highly organised, methodical in your approach, enjoy patient contact and working within a team then we can offer you a varied and exciting role where you will play a big part in making a difference for our patients. PAS knowledge preferred but not essential.
