Full Job Description

To contribute to the provision of health care to patients; providing a comprehensive and confidential clerical support in relation to attendances and admissions The Acute Medical Unit, Prince Charles Hospital. At all times the appropriate systems, procedures, policies and processes must be followed for all patients to experience a smooth journey at all times.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work within The Acute Medical Unit (AMU) Prince Charles Hospital. We aim to provide a high standard of care within our unit and are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated, has a friendly manner and an excellent work ethic. Good organisational and communication skills are essential as well as a flexible approach to work. The successful candidate will have ideally have previous office and front of house experience, ideally in a similar role within the NHS, Social Care or other health related environment. A good general education, 3 GCSEs or equivalent, are required. Knowledge of Health Board IT systems to include Myrddin and the E White Board would be desirable although full training will be given. The successful candidate will be able to work in a busy environment and have a sensitive, caring and non-judgmental attitude towards others. They must also be flexible in their role and will be expected to assist with discharge planning. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
