Full Job Description

You will be joining a small team of ward clerks on our Parkside Suite at Frimley Park Hospital where you will be supporting our clinical and admin teams.
You will be the main point of contact on our ward and this will consist of greeting all staff from areas within the Trust, our Consultants, Patients and relatives and as such a high level of customer service is required., Answer calls in a polite manner, ensuring all relevant messages are relayed to the appropriate team.
Greet all visitors to the ward in a helpful and polite manner.
Direct visitors to the correct team.
Maintain accurate admission and discharge information on EPIC
Work closely with Nurse in Charge to accommodate beds for new admission and relay information appropriately.
Log booking forms in the nurses' diary
Ensure handover sheet is up to date liaising with nurses where appropriate.
Ensure all patient documentation is scanned for 'costings'.
Maintain a safe environment.
Report any unsafe practices promptly to Matron/Senior Nurse/Nurse in Charge.
Any other tasks commensurate with your grade., Answer calls in a polite manner, ensuring all relevant messages are relayed to the appropriate team.
