Full Job Description

To provide comprehensive clerical service to the ward ensuring that all duties are carried out accurately and efficiently and that confidentiality is maintained.

The post holder will work as an integral part of the ward team. You will be responsible for monitoring all of the non-clinical patient facilities service in the ward area and ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment to improve the patient's experience.

The main elements of this role are conducting daily checks of the ward environment to monitor quality standards, to report deficiencies and take appropriate action. Ensure the delivery of cleaning, catering and minor maintenance services together with other specified tasks to meet individual patient needs.

You should be a calm, organised and well-motivated person with a positive, mature and flexible approach to your work. The post involves contact with patients and their families, so good communication skills are vital.
