The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable., The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ward Clerk to join the Team at Glan Clwyd Hospital.
To work as a member of a team providing an efficient and comprehensive clerical support service for the Ward thereby supporting the delivery of high quality service to patients and staff within the Department.
This is a great opportunity to work in and part of the NHS and support your communities with their Health Care., The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, relatives and visitors to the Ward and must demonstrate a professional and sensitive manner and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Working as part of the Ward Team the post holder will be required to give efficient clerical support to the nursing staff on the Ward.
Applicants must also have a good standard of education, be adaptable and have good organisational skills. A professional telephone manner is essential to receive and respond courteously to all telephone enquiries regarding patient care.
