Full Job Description
A great opportunity has arisen for a part time (15 hours per week) Ward Clerk to join our team at the Princess of Wales Community Hospital, Bromsgrove., Duties will include:
- Ensuring all patient admissions, discharges, transfers, day cases and ward attendees/out-patients are accurately recorded and entered onto the appropriate computerised systems.
- Providing administrative support as required, for example, typing/word processing, data inputting, filing, scanning/copying, in line with Trust Policies and Procedures.
- Obtaining and retrieving records, as requested, liaising with patients, staff, health professionals or outside agencies.
You should have good interpersonal skills and ideally have experience of dealing with members of the public. You will be required to assist in providing reception, admin and clerical support to the ward. This role is an essential position within the ward environment with first class customer care integral to the role. - 27 days leave plus bank holidays, increasing up to 33 days with long service
