Full Job Description
To support and provide administrative assistance to the Ward Department alongside offering general support to ward staff when required.
- Data entry using the local the computer system software- Compucare 8.
- Answer the telephone courteously and direct enquiries as appropriate.
- Complete necessary paperwork to support the ward and OPD.
- Arrange appointments using the required software and Microsoft Outlook.
- Liaise with other departments and develop strong workplace networks.
- Undertake the franking and use the Fax machine.
- Responsible for ensuring all relevant queries are handled efficiently and effectively, liaising with patients, Consultants and other relevant hospital staff.
