Full Job Description

All administrative tasks required in all areas. Including the use of bed occupancy systems, processing notes on the PAS system, making additional appointments on Soliton and oasis. On the ward setting provide initial meet and greet to ward attendees, maintain bed state on oasis pas, have oversight of EDNs, work with with all ward staff maintaining the administrative roles of the different areas. Reviewing EDNS (as required) and ensuring patients' personal details are up-to date and correctly entered onto the OASIS/PAS System, Soliton and Viewpoint. Inputting and amending Bed Occupancy System for Nursing Staff
Receiving and auditing patients' case-notes and ensuring notes available for ward rounds. Collecting Patients' case-notes from the Health Records Department, Transit area.
Preparing notes for antenatal clinics.
Collection of Ethnic and Religious Data and inputting information onto OASIS System
Acting as Stage One Officer to determine overseas patients' liability for treatment charges and informing the Overseas Officer
Filing, updating and maintenance of patients' records, ensuring Patient Front sheet contains correct details
Assisting Maternity staff with processing of patients' property and valuables in accordance with policy and procedures and arranging for property to be taken into General Office for safe custody

We are recruiting for a Ward Clerk for Maternity Services who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.
This is a rotational post throughout the maternity department working assorted shifts including nights, weekends and bank holidays. The shifts will be on the wards and on the Delivery Suite.
