Full Job Description

Are you empathetic, hard working and able to work under pressure?Do you want to make a real difference to our clinical teams and our patients?

You will be assisting in the efficient functioning of site operations to include discharge lounge by relieving nursing staff of routine clerical and administrative duties.,

  • Support clinical team with Repats via daily phone calls to external hospitals

  • Attend the bed meetings, capturing the actions and detailing these out to the divisions

  • Attend site led meetings to capture outcomes (once a month)

  • Support in the coordination of weekend planning slides

  • Data capture and analysis depending on projects running


  • To provide an efficient and polite service for callers by answering the telephone in a prompt and courteous manner in accordance with Trust guidelines and ensuring all messages are passed on

  • To communicate with colleagues, visitors to the office in a professional manner, responding to a diverse range of enquires.

  • To welcome staff to the office in an appropriate manner, showing them to the sign in sheets

  • Check computer details each morning and expected dates of discharge updating as required.

  • Maintain safe and tidy working environment, update Site Operations duty board and report maintenance problems to estates.

  • Undertake office related photocopying.

  • Maintain confidentiality at all times relating to patient care within the office area.

  • Assist the matrons and Clinical flow managers in undertaking clerical duties/ administration duties

  • Other ad-hoc duties as requested from time to time by general managers.

  • To be responsible for complying with Trust Infection Control policies and clinical guidelines.

  • To prepare and actively participate in Trusts annual Performance Development Review process and progress reviews.
