Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work as a ward clerk supporting Ward 11.
The successful candidate will need to be forward thinking and be able to provide a full range of clerical duties to support the smooth running of the ward.
Good organisational and communication skills are essential as well as a flexible approach to work. Knowledge of health IT systems to include PCS would be desirable although full training will be given.
The position will cover weekends, days and evenings up to 10 pm and both full and part time positions available
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the maintenance of patient notes and computer systems.
You will be expected to be able to communicate with a wide range of professionals, Consultants, doctors, nursing staff, and patients/relatives.
You will be expected to organise your own workload in order to maintain an efficient and professional service
Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MCHFT) provides good quality, safe and effective healthcare to the people of Cheshire and beyond. The Trust, which manages Leighton Hospital in Crewe, Victoria Infirmary in Northwich, and Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre in Winsford, was established as an NHS Trust in April 1991 and became a Foundation Trust in April 2008.
