Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust (OHFT) provides physical, mental health and social care for people of all ages across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset. Our services are delivered at community bases, hospitals, clinics and people's homes. We focus on delivering care as close to home as possible.
As a leading teaching, training and research trust, we have close links to Oxford and Oxford Brookes, Buckinghamshire, Reading and Bath universities. We are part of the Oxford Academic Health Science Centre, working closely with our university colleagues to translate their findings into clinical care as quickly as possible, enabling people using our services to benefit from the latest advances in healthcare.
+ To ensure the confidential nature of work is always maintained.
+ To have a regular appraisal and a personal development plan.
+ To attend a fire lecture once a year.
+ To appropriately report and record accidents/incidents and comply with Health and Safety regulations.
+ Have flexibility to provide cover for absence and receptionist duties.
+ Liaise with other Clinical Team members, GP's, Social Services, Voluntary Agencies, the Care Group, other Trust departments and general hospitals.
+ All new starters have a thorough induction process, both local and Trust wide, which aims to create a positive supportive working environment allowing new employees to learn key elements of their role over a reasonable timescale.

We are looking for a passionate, Ward Clerk to join our multi-disciplinary team on Wenric House. Wenric is a low secure ward providing 21 single bedrooms. Wenric House is situated in the Littlemore Mental Health Centre site in the city of Oxford.
You must have excellent communication skills, be reliable, punctual and work well in a team, whilst being adaptable to changing situations. You will need to be able to work calmly and efficiently within a busy and intensive environment dealing with unpredictable situations whilst remaining focused on providing a person-centred and recovery approach to care and treatment.

We offer excellent learning and development opportunities and there are several routes to progression and advancement within the organisation., We are currently recruiting for a Ward Clerk that will manage and provide secretarial and administrative support . A strong sense of teamwork and commitment to maintaining high standards is essential to this position . The role will suit someone who enjoys working in a busy office where they would be able to work as a team as well as under their own initiative.
You will need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, be able to provide excellent customer service and deal with administrative tasks in a timely and effective manner.
