Full Job Description

You will work alongside the nursing team and fellow housekeeper to ensure that high standards are maintained to deliver a quality service.
The working days are Mon - Fridays, with no weekend working at present, subject to change with service requirements.
Ward 31 is a specialist Oncology Ward which consists of 23 beds., The Hygienist Job role includes maintaining national standards of cleanliness in relation to the direct patient environment and equipment within the ward area, whilst adhering to infection control policies.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated person to join the team on Ward 31 at Castle Hill Hospital in the role of Hygienist., The successful applicant will need to have good communication skills, be flexible to meet the needs of the service and be able to work under their own initiative, escalating issues including broken and worn out equipment as necessary.
Knowledge of working in a care environment would be an advantage but not essential.
Academic qualifications are not essential although IT skills would be an advantage as reporting broken equipment is done electronically.
