We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a highly professional, motivated and enthusiastic candidate to manage Thames Ward, based at St Charles Hospital.

We are looking for a compassionate and highly motivated Ward Manager to lead our dedicated clinical team.

You will be able to demonstrate progressive skills in leadership, advanced clinical practice, and service development. We are seeking a nurse who is looking to further their career. You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team that is committed to the provision of high quality and patient-centred care, continuous service and staff development, and strong collaborative working with other agencies.

The successful applicant will work with the Matron to promote a culture that fosters staff involvement and a progressive attitude to service improvement, along with taking operational and clinical day to day management responsibility at team level using performance management systems. You will also work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families., The successful applicant will have contact with patients or service users.
